The Nourishing Spoon
This is the creation of a logo and some aspects of brand identity around the name of a business given. The goal was to decide the kind of business it was and work from there. I decided that the nourishing spoon sounded like a dinner. The color scheme I typically think of when I think of a dinner is a red and white checkerboard. I wanted to call back to this in my design while keeping it bright and happy so the pink and light teal was a natural progression. I preferred the darker pink at first but then received a critique that it affected legibility to have two colors so contrasting in the checkerboard, so I added a lighter pink to the color pallet for better contrast and legibility.
